maraton-crikvenicaTradicionalni plivački maraton Šilo-Crivenica održava se ove godine po 100. put na blagdan Velike Gospe, 15.8. u sklopu obilježavanja Dana Grada Crikvenice. Ovaj maraton je jedan od najstarijih natjecanja u ovom dijelu Europe, održava se neprekidno od 1910. godine. Posljednjih petnaestak godina organizira ga Grad Crikvenica u suradnji sa Sportsko ribolovnim društvima "Arbun", "Oslić", "Lovrata" i "Tunera", te Crikveničkim plivačkim klub i Jedriličarskim klubom "Val".

 

 

Start s Rive u Šilu na otoku Krku je u 10 sati kamo se natjecatelji prevoze brodovima. Staza je dugačka 3.800 metara. Prvi plivači u cilju na Gradskom plivalištu u Crikvenici očekuju se 45 minuta kasnije, a vremensko ograničenje utrke je 1,30h. Rezultati se boduju za Kup Hrvatske u daljinskom plivanju.

Proglašenje pobjednika i podjela nagrada je na Gradskom plivalištu u 12 sati, nakon toga i ručak za sve sudionike u organizaciji Sportsko ribolovnog društva "Arbun".U plivalištu od deset sati održat će se i revijalni program u sinkroniziranom plivanju.
