Pij malo-pij dobro! Konzumira li se u malim količinama, vino ima pozitivno djelovanje: podiže razinu dobrog kolesterola u krvi. Alkohol potiče stvaranje enzima čije djelovanje dovodi do povećanja kolesterola Hdl (kolesterol visoke gustoće), koji nije štetan za organizam. Napokon, vino potiče probavu, jer njegova kiselost omogućuje najveću probavljivost bjelančevina (mesa, sireva, jaja). Kiselina koju sadrži vino slična je onoj koja se nalazi u želučanom soku, te vino predstavlja lako piće koje pomaže probavu bjelančevina.
