sos-dshPovodom dvadesetogodišnjice, SOS Dječje selo Hrvatska posjetio je g.Helmut Kutin, predsjednik SOS Kinderdorf Internationala, koji je davne 1993. godine bio na otvaranju prvog Sela u Hrvatskoj. Ovom prilikom nagradio je SOS mame simboličnim činom darivanja zlatnog prstena u znak zahvalnosti za njihov dugogodišnji rad. Rođendansko slavlje 6. svibnja svojim dolaskom uveličala je i gospođa Josipović koja se i sama okušala u kreativnim radionicama Sela pokazavši svoje umijeće i kreativnost.


"Udruga SOS Dječje selo Hrvatska utemeljena je 25. veljače 1992. godine od grupe ljudi dobre volje, koji su prepoznali važnost koncepta SOS Dječjih sela kao jako dobar oblik skrbi o djeci bez roditelja ili adekvatnog roditeljskog staranja.", izjavila je gđa Višnja Tuškan-Krupić, nacionalna direktorica SOS Dječjeg sela Hrvatska.

Mnoštvo kreativnih radionica predvođenih velikanima glazbe, glume, plesa, likovne umjetnosti i sporta kao što su Goran Grgić, Mile Kekin i Zoki iz Hladnog piva te Blanka Vlašić privuklo je nekoliko stotina građana u Lekenik koji su nedjelju proveli u rođendanskom veselju djece iz SOS Dječjeg sela Hrvatska te tako podržali veliku humanitarnu kampanju.

U bogatom cjelodnevnom programu kreativnih radionica i ostalog zabavnog sadržaja u čast svim SOS mamama, SOS djeci i SOS obiteljima svi okupljeni imali su prilike okušati se u raznim radionicama (dramska, glazbena rock, glazbena violina, likovna, plesna, radovi na svili, medijacija, arheologija, zabavna škola nogometa i sl.) nakon kojih su ih prikazali na zajedničkoj predstavi. SOS dječja sela tijekom godine održavaju niz sličnih radionica za djecu u njihovoj skrbi.
