sushi

Sushi, tradicionalno japansko jelo popularno je i na zapadu gdje se otvara sve više sushi-barova. Osnovu čini riža koja se nadopunjuje najčešće ribom ili tofuom odn. seitanom u vegetarijanskoj varijanti. Iako djeluje komplicirano, sushi je jednostavno praviti i kod kuće. Dovoljno je par pokušaja kako biste postali sushi-majstor.


Sastojci (za 4 osobe)

2 lista nori alge

200g riže

100g tofua

100g mrkve

1 mladi luk

wasabi pasta

 

Priprema

1. Pripremite listove nori alge, skuhanu rižu, dimljeni tofu, povrće, wasabi pastu i podložak od bambusa. Povrće i tofu narežite na dugačke rezance, a mrkvu i luk zasebno skuhajte. Listove nori algi tostirajte nad plamenom ili grijaćom pločom, dok ne pozelene.

2. Na podložak od bambusa polegnite algu hrapavom stranom prema gore. Rasporedite po njoj sloj riže (oko ½ do 1 cm), ali gornju trećinu ostavite praznu. Navlažite ruke vodom kako se riža ne bi lijepila. Bliže rubu napravite udubinu, premažite je s malo wasabija i poslažite po njoj rezance od povrća i tofua.

3. Polako počnite sa zamotavanjem sushija. Poslužite se podloškom. Čim dođete do povrća, lagano ga vratite prema unutra i stisnite te prekrijte novim slojem.

4. Čvrsto zamotajte ostatak. Kada dođete do praznoga dijela alge, rub navlažite vodom i zalijepite za ostatak rolade. Ako sushi slučajno pukne, možete ga i "pokrpati" navlaženim komadićem alge.

5. Oštrim nožem narežite sushi na kolutiće. Poslužite uz soja umak u kojem ste razmutili komadić wasabi paste (oko ½ cm).
