Postalo je in imati svog terapeuta, kao i stomatologa, ginekologa ili estetskog kirurga. Kontakt podaci psihologa razmjenjuju se međusobno, uz komentare o načinu rada, psihološkoj školi i drugim detaljima. Očito je da lijekovi pomažu, i terapija pomaže, a vrijeme pomaže najviše (lat. Tempus vulnera sanat, Vrijeme liječi rane). Dr. Danny Carlat, psihoterapeut u Newburyport, Massachusettsu savjetuje: psihijatri i psiholozi bi morali zanemariti međusobne razlike, a istaknuti sličnosti, te surađivati zajednički na dobrobit pacijenta/klijenta. Trebalo bi prekinuti umjetni dualizam/rivalizam i podučavati psihologe psihofarmakologiji, a psihijatre psihoterapiji. Tek tada bi svaki pacijent dobio najbolju moguću njegu i terapiju.
