nikola-tesla-mfMemorijalni centar Nikola Tesla otvoren je 2006.g. u Smiljanu, kraj Gospića na 150. godišnjicu Teslina rođenja (1856.-1943.). Centar obuhvaća Teslinu rodnu kuću i popratne objekte u kojima su predstavljeni njegovi izumi, a godišnje ga posjeti nekoliko tisuća posjetioca. Povodom 155. godišnjice Teslina rođenja naš poznati fotograf Šime Sakoman snimio je prigodnu milenijsku fotografiju. Medikus.hr posjetio je Teslin muzej i snimio video reportažu.
